GDPR Article 13 requires that website visitors be informed about the controller, purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention, rights, and whether providing data is mandatory.

When you use this website or register for a training, we may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • booking and contract details

a) Website provision and technical security

We process technical data in order to provide the website, ensure stability and security, and prevent misuse.

b) Enquiries and pre-contract communication

If you contact us or submit a registration form, we process your data in order to respond to your enquiry and take steps prior to entering into a contract.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

c) Booking and contract performance

If you book a training, we process your data in order to manage your registration, confirm your place, communicate with you, and perform the contract.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

d) Payment processing and accounting

We process relevant personal data in order to accept payments, document transactions, and comply with tax and accounting obligations.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

e) Optional health information

If you voluntarily provide information about injuries, medical conditions, allergies, or other health-related matters relevant to your safe participation, we process that information only to the extent necessary for participant support and safety.

Legal basis: Article 9(2)(a) GDPR, to the extent that such information is provided voluntarily and explicitly by you, together with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the information is necessary for handling your participation in the training.

f) Legal compliance and defense of claims

We may process personal data where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Mandatory and optional information

Where form fields are marked as mandatory, that information is required to process your enquiry or booking. Without that information, we may be unable to conclude or perform the contract.

Information provided in optional fields is voluntary. This applies in particular to health-related information unless the form expressly states otherwise. GDPR Article 13 requires disclosure of whether provision of data is mandatory and the possible consequences of not providing it.

  • Wix, as the website and form infrastructure provider

  • Stripe, as the payment services provider

  • email and communications providers, where applicable

  • accountants, tax advisers, or legal advisers, where necessary

  • public authorities, where disclosure is required by law

Wix states that site owners remain responsible for taking the steps needed to make their own sites compliant with GDPR and related privacy rules. Stripe states that, depending on the activity, it may act as a data controller and/or processor, and its own privacy documentation should be consulted for details of its processing.  

7. Payment processing via Stripe

Payments on this website are processed via Stripe. When you make a payment, personal data necessary for payment processing may be transmitted to Stripe. Stripe processes personal data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

8. Website hosting and forms via Wix

 

This website is operated using Wix. When you visit the website or submit a form, personal data may be processed through Wix’s systems in order to host the website, provide forms, and support related functionality.

Wix states that site owners are responsible for reviewing their own compliance obligations, including privacy notices and cookie practices.
