The Grace Yoga 200h Teacher Training is a life-changing journey into the art and science of yoga. More than a certification, it is designed to support participants in becoming masterful teachers — while offering a deep dive into the practice of yoga in all its dimensions.

Becoming a great teacher — and a true yogi — begins with cultivating what makes you unique. The Grace Yoga Training is designed for that very purpose: to meet students where they are and provide them with all the tools they need to grow into authentic, skillful teachers.

The teaching approach is principle-based rather than rigid, aiming to empower rather than impose. At the heart of Grace Yoga lies a refined blend of ancient wisdom and modern science — a balance that, when approached with clarity and intention, leads to deep transformation and lasting confidence.

This integrity is upheld by a team of experienced teachers from diverse backgrounds, offering inclusive yet profound teachings that weave together philosophy, embodied practice, and theory.

From the learning environment to the curriculum, schedule, and teaching team, every element is intentionally crafted to support students on their path toward becoming accomplished practitioners and empowered yoga teachers.

THE RETREAT CENTER

Nestled on the edge of a national park just outside Lisbon, our home for the training is a restored quinta surrounded by 3.2 hectares of wild, generous land. Here, fruit trees, cork oaks, grapevines, and towering forests coexist with deer and wild boar, who sometimes visit the stream at the end of the garden.

Secluded yet connected, the farm sits just 15 minutes from the Atlantic coast and the charming surf town of Ericeira. Lisbon and its international airport are only a short 30-minute drive away, making arrivals and departures smooth and simple.

The venue is designed for retreat and reconnection — quiet, open, and steeped in natural beauty. Practice takes place in the Garden Shala, a converted glass Victorian greenhouse, and on a stunning yoga deck overlooking a valley of trees.

This is more than just a backdrop — it’s a living, breathing ecosystem in quiet regeneration. As we deepen our practice, we are held by a landscape that reminds us of the rhythms of nature. Surrounded by fruit trees, native forests, and abundant wildlife, the land invites us to slow down, listen, and reconnect — with ourselves and the world around us.

Nourishment & Accommodation

Food during the training will be plant-based, deeply nourishing, and crafted with care. Our chef, Zoe, approaches cooking as a form of alchemy — a practice of transforming the earth’s raw gifts into meals that support body, mind, and spirit.

Drawing from years of experience, research, and devotion to holistic health, Zoe’s cuisine is gluten-free*, refined sugar-free, and rooted in organic, local, seasonal ingredients. She combines modern nutritional science with ancient rituals — including fermentation, herbal infusions, and wild foraging — to create food that is healing, grounding, and alive.

Each day includes three vibrant meals: a generous breakfast with options like warm porridge, vegan yogurt, breads, fruits, savory vegetables, and elixirs; a light, protein-rich lunch; and a buffet-style dinner featuring a starter, main dish, toppings, and sugar-free dessert.

Meals will be abundant, healing, and thoughtfully prepared to complement the rhythm and depth of our days together.

Grace Yoga Philosophy

All teachings revolve around the 3 pillars of Grace Yoga:

Benevolence, giving unconditionally, Gratitude, receiving gracefully, Harmony, balancing the inward flow and the outward expression in awareness.

The method follows 5 modules, the 5 seeds of Grace Yoga

Sparśa स्पर्श, embracing the art of touch and non verbal communication, through hands-on assists, partner yoga, bodywork.

Vāk वाक्, the exploration of voice, language, and sound as powerful tools for connection and leadership.

Kāya काय, the deepening of embodiment, refining movement patterns, and understanding the physical dimension of yoga through asana practice.

Jñāna ज्ञान, knowledge as the fire that lights the path of understanding. This module sharpens your intellectual foundation, weaving together the practical, philosophical, and scientific aspects of yoga.

Sāra सार, the quiet essence, unseen current that carries the depth of practice. In this module, we explore the subtle body, meditation, ethics, and the invisible dimensions of teaching.
